Are Dental Clinics Open During COVID-19?

Are you in need of dental care but unsure if dental clinics are open during the COVID-19 pandemic? The answer is yes, many dental clinics are open and providing services with safety protocols in place. At Columbia Doctors Dentistry, we offer low-cost dental services for both adults and children. We understand that dental care is essential and have taken the necessary steps to ensure our patients' safety. To learn more about our COVID-19 safety protocols, please visit our information page.

Due to the safety protocols, we do not accept walk-in emergencies. If you have an emergency, please call us at 212-305-6100 to schedule an appointment. Please note that there is a cost for emergency services provided plus additional charges for necessary procedures. We accept payment in cash, credit card, check, debit card, or a valid Medicaid card.

To reduce your wait time, we recommend filling out this form before your visit. Our Pediatric Dentistry Clinic accepts emergency patients 8 years of age or younger until 4 p.m. If you think you have a medical emergency and the clinic is closed, go to the emergency room at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. The entrance to the emergency room is located on the west side of Broadway, south of 168th Street. The hospital charges emergency room fees.

Once your team has addressed your dental emergency, they will likely schedule a new evaluation for existing patients in Aspen Dental offices or a comprehensive exam for new patients. Our offices provide a wide range of dental services including preventive care, cleanings (dental hygiene), fillings, extractions, sealants (coatings to prevent cavities in children), tooth decay bottle prevention, dentures, crowns, caps, bridges (prosthetic dentistry), endodontics (endodontic therapy), gum treatment (periodontal care), dental care for HIV patients and patient education. At Aspen Dental offices, we are happy to serve both current and new patients with their dental emergencies. We understand that dental care is essential and have taken the necessary steps to ensure our patients' safety during this pandemic.
